MARKETS - Belgenny Mothers Day Market review

What an amazing Day Mothers day we had on Mothers Day at Belgenny Farm! what a venue and the weather was amazing even the early morning mist! I loved how our stalls were set up making it a must to meander the property, and how picnickers were mixed amongst the stalls, which allowed my Mum and my family to have a picnic set up near my stall - so we still enjoyed Mother's Day and it really didn't feel like work!

We must say a big thank you to all those regulars that popped out to say hello. for our second Market to have in excess of 5000 people stroll by it was certainly amazing.

We had such great feedback on our new signage too, ne watching for some new items related to this next month.

Our newest items were received with great success too..our scarves went down a treat and with the release of our crates the week before market seeing a huge order for these come in, we new they would be a success and they were!

MARKETS - Wilton Twilight Market review and Belgenny Mothers Day

After the success of our first market, we have decided that we will endeavour to visit a few this year.

Wilton Twilight Market - what a great venue, Wilton Public School was on Friday 5th April, we enjoyed live music from 5-9pm. Unlike our last market here in the heat wave, we were faced with the first of the colder nights....so it was a weather change!!

We launched some new ready made Fabric items as well as our Furniture Range.

I managed to catch up with quite a few friendly faces as well. I am looking forward to the next Market.

We are booked into Belgenny Farm for Mothers Day, so why no pack up a picnic and pop out for a spot of market shopping. Sunday 12th May 10- 3pm at Belgenny Farm Elizabeth Macarthur Ave, Camden South, NSW 2570, Australia. We have been told there will be a large selection of stalls including Music, food & lots of fun. Finally, I have solved the retreat lack of light without a power source.... this Ultra light clip-on hobby lamp, is Unique Naturalight™ LED. It is Battery operated, ideal for traveling, so perfect for retreats. It attaches to frames, hoops & books and even sits flat on your craft mat directing the light just were needed with its easily adjustable 7 "neck. It runs on 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries

This is one of those items that transfers from fabric to paper really well, as the cutting mat rotates 360-Degree to easily trim all 4 sides of a mat without repositioning paper/fabric. Which means its much safer when handling either the rotary cutter or scalpel and no more awkward angle cuts, just rotate the mat to make cutting easy. I LOVE IT.

I had been debating buying this mat, as I really wanted one that rotated when trimming, and after doing my research at craft fairs and on the Internet This is the one for us...it has made my cutting life easier on both paper and fabric. Especially for the Hexi quilt I am working on at the moment.

Busyfingers Milliners/straw needles. These are beautiful to use, for turned appliqué and hand piecing. They are long and fine. Perfect for everyone but especially if you suffer from arthritis , carpal tunnel or just have long fingernails.
