WOW, what a month JUNE was!!! And with June over, that means we are well and truly passed the mid-point of the year, and Christmas is coming.... find out more in the Newsletter, downloadable from the left hand side of our blog...

The Design Team Girls and I have been discussing changes, and we hope to bring you lot’s of those in the coming months…..hopefully some of these ideas will help you with your Christmas planning.

Our Extension to the deadline of entries for the FA 6th Birthday Celebrations means you still have 6 days to complete those amazing layouts and upload them to be in the prizes.

The major prizes - Two vouchers of $25 voucher to spend at FA!
The minor prizes - for winners of various random challenges and games during the competition - are $5 FA Vouchers, RAKS and FA Stars!

To enter: Simply add your name to the Registration thread of the forum and your current post count. New Members are welcome to come join and play today too!

You can enter at any time.
The winners will be determined by

• a public vote on selected challenges
• a random draw from all challenge entries.
• and who has progressed the furthest in their post count during the competition. All posts must be legitimate posts and not spam.

RECIPE SCRAP TONIGHT @ Forever Always

Tonight we are cooking up shapes....so be prepared for a bit of freehand cutting, & punching.

Ingredients
Photos
5x7 landscape
2 1/4 x 3 landscape - or you could trim down a 4x6
Papers
A. Background Cardstock or plain Patterned Paper
B. 8 inch scallop edge x 3 inch Cardstock
C. 4 x 12 inch Patterned Paper
D. 4 inch scallop edge x 3 inch Cardstock
E. Co-ordinating scraps from which to hand-cut 2 tear drops and punch 5 x 1 1/4 inch circles - helps if it is double sided

Embellishments
3 varied sized Cork Circles/rings (Bella - 2 1/4, 1 1/2, 1inch) but you could use chipboard.
Chipboard Title
Carolees Creations Tiny alphas or something similar
Pen for Journaling
Extra items to personalise like rubons, thread, buttons, brads etc.

• cardstock for background
• paper A, 12"x 5"
• paper B, 6"x 1"
• paper C, 6"x 1"
• 6x4 landscape photo
• journal box
• rectangle tag/sticker (smallish, about 1cm x 5cm)
• 4 x buttons
• 2 word title
• staples/er
• pen for some written journalling
