Bling Inspiration

Bling inspiration
Everywhere you look at the moment, there is a little bling! From fashion to phone accessories, and of course we all love our scrapping bling!
Bling is available in all sorts of shapes and sizes…from products like Heidi Swapp glitter iron-ons and jewels to the old products like crafting rhinestones and mirrors, even Bazzill now has bling, with that glittery shimmery sparkle in the cardstock…even the metallic paints can cause some bling. So packaged up an assorted selection and challenged the girls to get blinging… is what they came up with.

Totally loving these bling pages and not seeing anything virginal about them at all…I would say louise is not a bling queen!!!

Having only one child, and a boy at that, I've never really used a lot of "bling" before. So when Sonia gave us this pack, and told us to focus on "bling", I was worried !!!

Luckily for me, an idea popped into my head, inspired by some Queen & Co packaging ! Voila, we have the two very cute, Bazzill Bling Handbags complete with Heidi Swapp Jewels and matching ribbon handles !

The Melissa Frances Bling, was a little harder to use, as it had a Christmas theme...and it's not Christmas !!! But along with some Basic Grey Stella Ruby scraps, ribbon and a Heidi Swapp Floral, I was able to make this Christmas tin !

I really liked the Bazzill Bling cardstock, and was really pleased with how well it folded, and how sturdy it was for making the little handbags. The Heidi Swapp jewels are very nice, and it's good to see them coming in more colours and shapes. I do like the Melissa Frances shapes, but they are better suited to Christmas.

“princess ZsaZsa” this layout was hard to scan, its actually a very soft pink and the bling is just so special….Bazzill, Heidi Swapp bling crowns, bling accents, small flower jewels and borders, Bazzill platinum metallic, Heidi Swapp chipboard letters uppercase covered with making memories patterned paper, Cherry Arte chip alpha painted with a silver paint pen – these almost look like molten metal….very bling!!!!
“Cheeky Chirstmas” – Bazzill Bling, Melissa Francis Glitter chipboard, Carolees Creations floral ribbon, Love you More Diamond Brads, Hand cut title from glass slipper Bazzill bling.

Bling Card and box….by Sonia, I even got in the bling zone with this little card and box, I have used recycled aluminium to create these shiny flowers, and used my favourited BLING – Love you more diamond brads…every girl loves diamonds!!!!
