Gab’s Comments: - I often like to use a square template when placing multiple photos on a page. You can then fill the large square with little ones and put whatever you like in each smaller square i.e. journaling spot, pp etc. Remember to make the photos of greatest significance the largest ones. Also, unless you are super organised (=not me) then it is handy to cut a larger margin around your photo as you crop it in case you change your mind/make a mistake etc. Have fun!
Materials:-pp scenic route, large alphas - scenic route, circular alphas queen and co, journaling spot scenic route pp painted yellow, epoxy stickers - Love, Elsie.

Feature Article....Journaling by Sharryn Thomson

It is said that journaling is the heart and soul of any scrapbook page.If we were to just create layouts by sticking down photos and giving it a title, in years to come, we would probably remember the time and place the photo was taken but would we remember the feelings behind the photo and the moment?
You may have a photo of your little one throwing a tanty (don't we all?), you might want to scrap that picture thinking later on how cute your child looked but will you remember why your child was so upset? It might be something seemingly trivial but in years to come it will be something to treasure. Some years ago I lost my beloved grandmother and I was beside myself for not making it in time to say goodbye. I was so deeply hurt by this and when I finally did feel that I could scrap a page about her, I wrote a letter to her describing the feelings I had about not being there with her and telling her how very sorry I was. I attached it to my page with ribbon as I felt the journaling was too personal for just anyone to read who may be flicking through my albums. Hidden journaling is a wonderful thing when Scrapbooking pages of events in your life that you may want to share with the viewer of your albums but want to conceal your personal heartfelt journaling.
