MAY NEWSLETTER IS UP

We have been plotting and planning changes, with the first being released in our April Cybercrop and what a success that was, the inner competitor came out in you all. We were blown away with the participation, and the comments. Just thought I would share some Comments from the Forum regarding the new format…

“I certainly enjoyed scrapping under this new format, found it far more fun
& less stressful - so thank you Sonia & the DT for the change.

system! I haven't been here to FA before, I just found it on Friday looking for
a cyber crop, but I must say it is very friendly and very organised so I will be
hanging around (If no one objects of course!?!) ”


Next big event for us is the May Retreat just 2 short weeks away – we still have spaces…why not come and play.


We hope that you enjoy May’s cybercrop, we are running it in conjunction with our RETREAT, with lot’s more fun and frivolity with games galore and an extra day of playing too. We can’t have our stay at home scrapper’s missing out!!!

Scrapper in the SPOTLIGHT… will it be you??? Each month we will be featuring a scrapper in the spotlight, choosing from somebody who is extremely active in both our forum and gallery…watch this space for next months favourite.

Be sure to pencil these in your diary…then ring and book in, space is very limited! Thursdays – 10am till 2pm (bring your lunch), Every Thursday – just call and book in.
12 Hour Crops – 3rd May (treat you before Mothers day) 7th June
Cyber Crops – Thursday 15th, Friday 16th, Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th May with Challenges completed by Midnight on the 20th May. 13th – 17th June.
Retreats bookings now being taken for all these dates

Colour Combo Challenges.
well having a cold, has had me eating loads of lemons….and just the colour of them cheers me up….so I sort inspiration AND came up with this… COLOURS THAT CHEER one glimpse of fresh flowers or a bright bowl of citrus fruits provide an instant pick-me-up. So try adding bold hues like lemon, lime, pink, or orange to your decor, They'll really give you something to smile about.
This month’s Dare of choice is to use lemon, lime orange and pink.


May Sketch Challenge
This month’s Sketch inspiration comes from Michelle’s – ‘Fairy tales’ layout, as per Michelle’s clean lines style – we are sure this will inspire some amazing creations this month be sure to have fun. So your challenge is to create an ORIGINAL Scrapbooking page based on this sketch. You can view the sketch and Design Team inspirational layouts and also upload your entry to our Gallery. Entries close on 30th MAY 2008. The winner will receive a gift pack to the value of $15.
Changed weekly 'WORD' Inspiration
Every Monday during the month, we will issue a new word inspiration. This word is meant to inspire a layout. The challenge is to complete a layout using the weekly word, you have all month to work on the words, we hope we can challenge and inspire you to amazing creativity.
